Double sorry y'all. I had a piece of my stomach tissue removed, a plug sized piece that refused to heal from some major surgery almost two years ago. The point of the story is that I developed a bit of a fever yesterday & fell asleep before I could finish the post. In as much as I was feeling pretty awful, I still believe that this post was posted on Groundhog's Day. So there. I'm feeling marginally better today in case you give a rat's ass about the condition I'm in. Here are some more Pileated Woodpecker photos, so in flight, plus a couple of others.
