Game Camera?

Click 'em to big 'em.

I've had some trouble with my game camera lately so I brought it into the house, here are the, um, results.

Forget it, Blogger is being Bloggy & I can't upload any photos right now. Not sure what the problem is, but it is a problem for more people that just little old me. Later.

UPDATE: Yay yay yay. I reverted to the old Blogger upload process so am, obviously, able to show you some stuff. Here we go:

Since things are all FUBAR already, this is first but should be last.

Turkeys, Evening Sky, & Promises For The Future

I spent a bunch of today planing some popple boards to make a few chicken nest boxes, since they are starting to lay eggs.  I guess last week's butchering had the desired effect, at least on some of the hens, the damned rooster I wanted headless is still crowing in my face, with impunity & a  sneer I might add.  I do hear by promise to post some pics of the nests boxes, which will probably be things of great beauty, great utility, & hopefully no great pain.

Wild Turkey (not the bourbon) family, the family that adopted Jewelry Polish after she sneaked out of the chicken coop that was constructed to avoid such sneakiness.  Jewelry Polish is not visible in the photos since she is quite small & is probably hiding under one of the turkeys.  The photos would have been better if I would have had the long lens that I thought I had the money to buy awhile back.  I guess I'm building character or something.

Here are a couple of shots of the evening sky at the end of the driveway.

& Now
The Daily Doe

Yes, I can count, I went to school once, but these photos are interesting so I have more than one doe.  You know, you can sue me if you want, but nothing from nothing means nothing.  So, just enjoy.

Family Outing Today - A Beautiful Sunday With Rides In A 1926 Ford Driven By Jan Cameron Who Really Knows How To Drive & Also Really Knows How To Be A Wonderful & Warm Person

Click 'em to big 'em, as if y'all  already don't know that but I'm big on repetition, sort of, when the notion strikes me & it strikes me right now.  Click 'em to big 'em.

Grandma & Lucy ready to ride the 1926 Ford.

Mama & The Babies.  Go see their blog because if you don't sand flies & wood ticks & deer ticks will somehow crawl up your ear canals, yes both, & then on to your brains & then you know what happens.

Mama & Marigny in the passenger's seat.

The Babies riding the fenders.

Family getting ready to travel in style.

Mrs. coldH2Owi & Jan C. driving up from Ashland, Wisco's, marina to the famous, I mean famous, Penn building.

Mama & Dada looking good.

Dada looking exceptionally cool & deboner & chick, eh?

Another pic of the family waiting to ride in front of the famous & I mean famous Penn building.

I got the game camera set up down in the ravine & this is the first deer of the season.  I cropped the original photo so you don't see the time stamp, but this was taken at 1:18 a.m.

The Daily Doe Bonus

Even though their isn't a white-tailed deer in this photo, The Babies felt these four ravens ought to appear on the blog because we all felt there were only three ravens at first until Miss Marigny spotted the fourth raven.  It was a great catch.  Yes, I do have help with this blog.  Rest assured, however, that The Babies have been fast asleep for a couple of hours & I'm finally getting the photos onto the internets.
